Ravens in Hollywood

Conditions: marine layer overcast
Moderate temps.
Two ravens perched on the billboard above Starbucks at Sunset and LaBrea for nearly an hour this morning.
My theory is that they come down from the hills early to forage, and if it isn’t warm and sunny, they wait for the marine layer to burn off before taking to the air.
As the billboard is visible from my apartment, this is an easy and fairly frequent observation.
