The industry and media gushing over a certain film about kissing cowboys is pretty astonishing, considering the movies many flaws and the overexaggerations about its place in film history. The only shortcoming relevant here, however, is the absence of ravens on large, dead mammals. A nice pair of ravens engaged in allopreening or billing would’ve been a nice touch, but they could at least have gotten one to flap around the dead sheep and pull the tail of that silly dog.
